Mr. Brooks has over 20 years of experience in the creative non-profit community. He is also the co-founder of Pro Arts Collective Theatre Company with Boyd Vance and Trina Scott.

He is a director, performer, and producer of theatre with experience in theater management. He has served on various non-profit boards and committees at the local, state, and national levels.

He is the past Chair of the Board of Directors for Spectrum Theatre Company. He currently is the Chair of the Board Directors of the Austin Creative Alliance
